Burn him! Burn the witch!.........Animals. All.
Wisconsin GOP Senator Glenn Grothman chased, trapped by hecklers, saved by Dem. Rep. Brett Hulsey (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Cx77K8e3WE#ws)

Thanks, IDP. Still getting used to the new duds.
I especially liked the part where everyone starts shouting "Peaceful protest", while they're holding the congressman against his will.
"Brain stupid. Must chant over and over or I won't understand what I'm supposed to do."

If this is not a wakeup call to the American people as to the nature of the existential threat posed to our nation by the Left, then the American people will not awaken until one of these Leftist thugs kills someone.
-
Couldn't watch but 5sec. Y'all have a beautiful capitol. And the governor seems to be a Teddy Roosevelt (speak softly but have a steel spine) type of guy. But that trash needs to be cleaned up pronto.
It is time for all the good people of Wisconsin to come to the aid of their capitol.
ETA: What if all the good people of Wisconsin had a "Visit the Capitol" day?

I think everyone here knows what's coming. There will be blood, and it will be a leftist who fires the first shot. It's in their nature. Someone I read recently (linked on instapundit) said something like "liberals love democracy, until they lose." Sure enough, I'm not at all surprised about what is transpiring in WI these days. When they lose, they'll lie, cheat, steal, bully, beat, silence, disrupt, "agitate", whatever is necessary to get their way. They're natural born fascists.
And all the while, they're convinced THEY are the champions of democracy. "This is what (my definition of) democracy looks like!"

We basically have termites eating the foundation of the house, and they have been doing so for years. All that time, they've counted on and taken advantage of the good nature of the homeowners, who don't want to fumigate the crawl space because they entertain some vague sentiments about it being too harsh, and that maybe the termites are just eating wood because that's what termites do, etc, etc. The trouble is, the structure is now so fully infested that a collapse under its own weight is imminent. What now?

As it's rotten through and through, let the f**king thing fall down. We'll rebuild. But first we'll bleed, all of us.
-
This is interference with a public official, criminal intimidation, and potentially assault (or at least false imprisonment). They should assign each Republican legislator one of those lefty cops (why not - they're not exactly doing much of anything) for escort duty.

Just so we're clear of the house when it falls.
Take a little picnic then get to work.
It will be rejuvenating.

I agree with michelleo. Someone is going to get seriously hurt or killed. People do not act the same way in a mob as they do in more normal settings. Think of the street behavior you see after a home town team wins a championship...people turning over cars, breaking storefront windows and burning stuff. In the case of WI all it takes is a catalyst of some sort to flip it from an angry mob to a violent mob. And then someone is going to be very seriously beaten or killed.
-
I think now is more important than ever to be prepared for self-defense at any moment. Just on your normal activities out of the house, because there's no telling when and where a flashpoint is going to fire up and next thing you know you're in a Reginald Denny situation.

My God, he had to be terrified he'd be torn to pieces.
-
Other blog apologists have commented on this saying that "he was never touched" and "all they did was chant 'shame, shame shame'." ANd my favorite? "It wasn't a mob."
Really now. If that was not a mob, then my brother does not have a functioning civil war cannon in his backyard.

I'm not sensing the commensurate expression of outrage from the people of Wisconsin. Maybe I'm out of the local loop, but it seems to me that such actions should be met with the harshest of responses, and the people of Wisconsin seem far too willing to take this and let is pass.
This Senator escaped physically unscathed. But there can be no misreading of the situation. His very life was in imminent danger.

When in doubt, pop smoke.

It seems the Senator Grothman was not afraid for his safety. He thought he was dealing with a bunch of "nice, naive, college types" (http://gatewaypundit.rightnetwork.com/2011/03/wisconsin-senator-glenn-grothman-talks-with-jim-hoft-after-mobbing-video/). He better wise up and get some bodyguards.

He's trying to do that insufferable Republican "I'm remaining above the fray" thing. His life was in imminent danger. One of those "protesters" punching him, jumping on him or putting a shiv between his ribs, and he would have been consumed by dozens and torn apart within a moment. There is no point to him trying to put a smiley face on it after the fact. He could easily have been killed.

In war, if you aren't in it to win it - you lose.

Can you even begin to fathom if this had been a (D), add to that black female being held like that by Tea Party folks........Even nickelodeon would stop sponge bob or to cover that sh*t...........
on the other hand, an (R) held by those sh*theads............move along, nothing to see here.........

Another example why I have no respect for anything democrat......The apologists not calling this a mob? Have liberals become so biased there is no action they won't defend?
And why are these people not at work???? or is this thier work.....
There is gonna be trouble one day...someone is gonna get hurt. You'd think a congresswoman shot in the head would meter the bias when a crowd like this gathers. Apparantly not. Part of me thinks...Bring it on....but then, where would democracy be?
It appears democracy has degenerated into who can gather the largest mob. We are witness to it in the Middle east today. I'm told democracy is gather a crowd, remove a dictator so we can place our dictator in place. At least, this is what obama and his minions are calling democracy. Its no wonder liberal mobs are neuther tethered or challenged. It is the new democracy.

If it turns out the WI Republicans did indeed "cut a deal" with these truant Democrats, then all they have done is communicate a message across the whole country that says "If you Democrats aren't getting your way, take your ball and go home to pout. After a while we'll give in and let you dictate terms that your actual legislative numbers can't."
In other words, it sounds exactly like something Republicans would do.

One time...just once, in a situation like this I'd barter a deal and as dems sit in thier places, all smug...I'd call it off.

The Wisconsin senate GOP will set the tome going forward for the entire nation. If they cave - if they leave Walker hanging out to dry - every governor in the nation who hopes to reclaim government away from the unions for the taxpayers will have their legs cut out from under them.

I'd do that in a heartbeat!
