...from Mike Vanderboergh. (http://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com/2011/11/heres-tip.html)
Watch for Monday's Newsweek.
If what I have been told is going to happen actually happens, the FBI -- indeed, the whole premise of the "trust the Federal government to protect you" meme -- is going to be in serious meltdown.
And it has (almost) nothing to do with the Gunwalker Scandal.
Really. Can't wait.
-
From the comments section - a quote from the original poster:
"Is this it?"
No. Neither is it the Georgia case. It is so much deeper and broader than that. I never thought I'd pray for the Newsweek brass, but knowing the kind of pressure they are reported to be under to NOT print this story I am now.
You will be flat amazed at what a huge scandal the FBI is up to their eyeballs in, but I don't scoop anybody (unless I get the story first myself and sometimes not even then if it harms the investigation), so you'll just have to wait.

Will be interesting to see what it is...

Mike Vanderboergh is Dutchman6, the original poster, and was critically instrumental in breaking the Gunwalker scandal.

Might as well speculate. F&F guns getting into the hand of Islamic terrorists in Mexico and making their way back across the border.
-
Seems like there would be instant rapport between
them but it ain't happening. Maybe they are both
so arrogant they can't stand each other, whatever
the dissonance we're lucky. Or would they (muzzies)
rather not run the risk of being caught as border
felons when they can fly from Europe to Detroit or
Canada then cross with impunity.

The only ones I can remember coming across the border are the Somalis. Middle Eastern types usually just waltz right through the airports.

The FBI has proof that Obie was born in Kenya.
In a manger.

LATER UPDATE: Article postponed, supposedly until the end of the month. The pressure must be intense. This is the last I'll have to say until the 28th. Twice bitten, thrice shy. But it will be everything I said it is. The only question is, how long can Newsweek choke before somebody beats their headline? It won't be me, just sayin'.

Crap. Something else I have to track now.
Okay, fine. Patience/virtue.

Sidgie. It's genetic.

I'm guessing this is the bombshell (http://www.thedailybeast.com/newsweek/2011/11/13/how-obama-s-alternative-energy-programs-became-green-graft.html).....
It's an article that features a new book called "Throw Them All Out" by Peter Schweizer.

Those scandals are all bad, and SHOULD be bombshells, if we had a GOP worth a crap. But I don't think this is it, since the "bombshell" is supposed to have something to do with the FBI and its ability to protect the American people.

I'm starting to become the living definition of insanity. I keep doing the same thing over and over again hoping for a different result. I keep tugging on her tail and she keeps biting me and I come back for more. ::curtsy4::

".... and has (almost) nothing to do with the Gunwalker Scandal".
Waiting to see how tangential (or not) "almost" is.

It must involve large sums of money or the administration wouldn't be part of it.
Money laundering?
DOJ in cahoots with Johnny Sutton?
-
Heh, I think CO has us in the proper line of thinking...but laundering would bring in Treasury as lead agency...Sutton however...something which strikes deep into the heart of the DoJ seems likely.

The original tipster (http://sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com/2011/11/heres-tip.html) says the story has been postponed to the end of the month.
Meanwhile, publisher and editors are out at Newsweek today (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204323904577038040656015860.html?mod=wsj_share_tweet).

We've got complementary Topics going and, well, this belongs here. Note it is antecedent to the Newsweek departures.

As the Gunwalker conspiracy cover-up continues to unravel, I increasingly hear a legal term being mentioned: Misprision of a Felony.
...
...
Interestingly, a federal judge -- or any other government official -- is required as part of their mandatory administrative duties to receive any offer of information of a federal crime. If that judge or official blocks such report, that block is a felony under related obstruction of justice statutes, and constitutes a serious offense.
