Gosh, that evokes some strong nostalgia. I was just thinking about the Charlie Brown Christmas today when I heard a rendition of "Christmastime is Here" on the radio. The version in this show, sung by children, was always my favorite. Something very real about the brushes on the snare drum, the piano, the upright bass....
Can you imagine a mainstream television special produced nowadays that openly quoted extensively from the Bible?
We've lost so much.
-
We've lost our culture; that which made us US.

We haven't lost our culture, some people,
just like little kids, need a spankin'.

Not lost...more like crushed, ridiculed, hijacked, punished and abandoned...
