The K-E Diet: Brides-to-Be Using Feeding Tubes to Rapidly Shed Pounds
"The main side effects are bad breath; there is some constipation because there is no fiber in the food,"
"It was emotionally difficult, the 10 days of not eating," Schnaider said. "And sometimes I had to give excuses to people who were asking are you sick? And I was like, 'No, I'm not sick, I'm not dying, I'm fine.'

No, you are not fine, you are sick, sick in the head!

 ::facepalm::

Correct me if I am wrong, but, once engaged the wedding is often several months later, right?  Not enough time to earn that weight loss in a safer and more responsible manner?  Oh, crap, yes, I said it - "responsible"!

Nevermind!

Seriously, some gal tells me she is doing this, that engagement is over!  God knows what other crazy fad pops into her head she thinks is a "good idea"?!

Perhaps this will be the solution the government seeks for obesity? BMI too high? Here's your government mandated feeding tube. Take it out, and the IRS will be knocking at your door.

Sounds insane, doesn't it? That's only a mere step from where we're headed.

Stupid.

All that so she can fit into a wedding dress?

 ::gaah::

Isn't getting married about more than the party?

I gonna start a new business, catering to brides. I'm gonna call it "the coming out of the closet" diet ( no this has nothing to do with queers). You visit my "spa", which is a 10x10 room with ajoining bathroom. I lock you in, provide you enough food and water to exist, until you lose the desired amount of weight. Within the room is a cot, exercise videos and a scale. No oprah.

The great news is the cost. Only 95.00 day, excluding meals. Depending on which 600 calorie diet you choose, the cost may vary. Evian water is extra.

  These women must be about as insecure as anything I have ever heard of. They seem to forget that the guy marrying them has alread seen them and know what he's getting.

   I married my wife for better or worse in sickness and in health and that includes skinny or fat she's still my girl.If they're that worried about this nonsense maybe they're nuts or they have the wrong guy.
