Hooray for the 54!

Bachmann, Paul, Pence, 22 freshman...

http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2011/03/vote-breakdown-who-are-54-republicans-that-bucked-gop-leadership-on-cr-vote.html (http://blogs.abcnews.com/thenote/2011/03/vote-breakdown-who-are-54-republicans-that-bucked-gop-leadership-on-cr-vote.html)

On the down side...

...now we have to suffer through 3 more weeks of pointless arguing over miniscule cuts that won't amount to squat!

Would be better off shutting the damn government down...these jackasses just are not taking our grotesque deficits and debt seriously enough.

Pathetic!

I am most disappointed about the new members falling into line so quickly. Only 25% of them voted against the RINO leadership. The party apparatus is a corrosive force that IMO argues even more forcefully for our need to form a new party. The arguments against doing so just seem to carry very little weight anymore.

It's over.

Obama wins in 2012.
But, it may not be terrible if we totally emasculate him by dominating both houses.

I'm also considering how to get a movement to primary my new guy

Obama will win anyway, if these pukes put a RINO against him. The Republican Party has outlived its usefulness by a decade or two.

I might be showing my age (or my foolishness), but I really thought conservatives were in permanent ascendancy once Reagan won reelection...but the there was "Read My Lips", Slick Willie, a brief moment of rejuvenation until Newt sold out...then after 9-11 I though no way in hell will people ever allow us to grow so weak and complacent and elect libtard's ever again...then Pelosi & Reid and Duh Wun...and here are, being sold down the river again...

It's enough to try even the once endless patience of Job!
