Ohio should be going to Romney fairly significantly, any deviation from that expectation will be a clear indication lawsuits will be flying!

to change the pick point from 4 pixels in size to 10 pixels. Apparently you have to hit the proper pixels for the vote to register for Romney otherwise it is a vote for obumbles.

This is all intolerable. Why do we allow our method of choosing our government to be compromised like this? Touch screens, why do we even use touch screens?! And further, why do we allow the display to be arranged such that the candidate names are so close to each other that the most minor calibration problem can completely alter a citizen's intended vote?
This is banana republic shenanigans. The third world countries where you mark a ballot with purple ink on your thumb would be better than this.

Yup. At least in the People's Republic of Minnesota our optical scanners also have the paper ballot as a backup to examine for voter intent, touch-screens are the video-poker of the electioneering world, they were made to be gamed! Only a bunch of brain dead morons would allow them to enter their precints. Secret hand-written ballots stuffed into a box would be better than that!

Yea, they call in soros tech to "recalibrate" the machine. They are supposed to vote Obama every time. Machine was messed up.

Another precinct in Charlotte, NC is reporting "calibration" problems. A woman reports that she tried to pick Romney three times, and it registered Obama all three times. Fortunately she was astute enough to confirm before submitting the ballot, but this is still intolerable. We should not have the manner in which we select political representatives come down to unreliable electronic machines (and I don't think it's the machine's inherent reliability that is in question, I think it is deliberate manipulation).
My local polling place used to have a large board where you press a button corresponding to your choice and it illuminated a big arrow pointing to your choice. Once done you hit a submit button. As far as electronic voting goes, that worked pretty well and was unambiguous. But they have since changed over to a Scantron form where you fill in bubbles like you did on exams back in school. I like this system better. They can scan the form for all the benefits of computerized tabulation, but there is still an unambiguous paper ballot backing each vote. Entirely electronic systems should be outlawed by Constitutional amendment, IMO. They are a threat to our whole electoral process.

Yep.. In my polling place the machine spit out a paper copy and told you to verify it. so there is a paper record of my vote even if the electronic vote was wrong. The Dems are outright disobeying the laws and taking over polling places in Philly- ousting GOP judges so they can cheat. Others are just campaigning within the polling places. This should result in a death sentence for those involved.. but it won't.

Yup, optical scanners here too, paper backup beats no back up. How do you determine voter intent on an electronic-only machine, especially a recount? Friggin' ought to be outlawed and punishable by death.
