Title: Blackhawk helicopters fire weapons in skies over Miami

Here's another not so subtle shot across the bow.

Fortunately "it was only a drill", so go back to sleep Subjugates.

I would have loved to see someone start winging 7.62 rounds at the MF'rs.

Public safety can't be the main priority with antics like this.

Right.  Nothing untoward here about LEOs and the military training jointly ... for whatevah.

Army training exercise happening on Houston's south side (http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?section=news/local&id=8971311)

" HOUSTON (KTRK) -- SkyEye 13 HD was over the south side where at first look, it appears there's a massive SWAT scene happening.

People have been calling police, as well as our newsroom, saying they're hearing gunshots in the area of Scott and Airport. It turns out, the Army says, it's a multi-agency training drill. They're doing it at the old Carnegie High School.

Helicopters were also involved. The Army isn't giving any details of what the training is about.

So if you see the helicopters or hear gunfire, it's only a drill."

Relax, people.  It's only a drill.

For what .......

If these "drills" had been deemed necessary and commonplace all along, I would be less alarmed. The fact that they are mobilizing now, and expecting us to turn a blind eye as if all is normal... well, not gonna happen.

Actually, it may be the only way some real questions get raised.

But the sheeple will quietly roll over and drift back into the comfortable fog that is the sleep of the ignorant...naively thinking nothing bad will ever happen to them...after all, what did they ever do?

The answer is nothing, a repetitive act which will be repaid in-kind.   ;)

And if there were a rebellion, especially within the military rank and file,  and they were quelling it, do you think that they would describe the exercise  as anything other than a "drill"?
They are either trying to get the public to see it as normal, or things are already coming to a head. Can't tell from where I am sitting.

Both bad.

Part and parcel with armored military vehicles positioned roadside along the interstates. Conditioning on the one hand, practicing deploying and positioning on the other.
Very bad.
And I think I'd be inclined to take a few pot-shots, but they won't be pulling this stuff over suburbia.

What do you guys think about this.  Some on the BBC say it is normal in their part of the country.  In all my life I have never heard of our military conducting training in civilian suburbs.  Easy to think the worst at this point.

What say you ??

Agreed, but to Weisshaupts point, we may not know it is no longer conditioning and drilling or the real thing until order 66 goes out and people start getting rounded up and bullets start flying.

Putting aside for now the question of active duty military & national guard loyalty being with the fascists or the people, logistically speaking, are they not limited to seizing control of key distribution centers of financial activity, energy production and distribution, and food and water distribution?  Otherwise they would be too spread out.  Those not impacted by these areas (more rural) will likely be confronted by local constabulary, sheriffs and stray state troopers.  The sheriffs I see being the most resistant to the fascists, the troopers may be split, any local police are almost always mostly yes men to politicans already, so...

You brought up a government topic there? Shame on you.

The Army did not give any details of what the training is for. Some people we spoke to needed no explanation.

Of course not, the last casualty in a dying republic is never known to be the first casualty until bodies hit the floor.

"If it's to protect our kids, I'm all for it," neighbor Glenn DeWitt said.

Perfect mindless dipsh*t, people like this are a big part of the problem.

I live in Western Washington in a little suburb of Seattle. We have lots of military here (once thought to be the only thing that kept us from becoming a totally commie state). There are always troop movements on our highways and fighters and cargo planes in our skies. In this respect no, it isn't unusual.

The dividing line however, is Apache helicopters buzzing the downtown, or armed troops on downtown streets. I've never seen or heard of it and won't tolerate it. All of this is so pointless...unless you actively consider the tinfoil scenario. There are plenty of facilities where soldiers can train. If we needed to conduct live-fire exercises why not visit Mexico?

Exactly. What a mindless damn toolbox.  Those are also the people who would happily and unhesitatingly report neighbors and even family for having "wrong" attitudes and making "anti-social" comments. After all, if it's to keep their kid safe!

What is this damn obsession people have with the illusion of safety? I've simply never understood it. I resent excessive safety. Nature favors the bold, it's like the motto of the original commando unit, the SAS, "Who Dares Wins". Excessive safety promotes a bunch of also-ran groupthinkers. But what bothers me most about people like the one quoted is their unquestioned acceptance of whatever premise the government lays out. Ok, it's to keep your kid safe? How do you know that? Keep them safe from what? As compared to?

I know, once again it is a complete lack of personal responsibility!  Who is to keep you safe?  YOU!  Who is to keep your kids safe?  YOU!  And YOU need to teach them so they can do the same when (if) they GROW UP!

Son of a....!!!  Too many people are dumb helpless cows!!!

All damned umbilicals cut!  Nobody gets nothing unless they earn it or make it themselves!  The whole damned country needs to have an attitude adjustment!

Pan has it right!  Either we beat them and they learn, if not, tough sh*t!
