Sounds like a good stop to add onto a vacation itinerary if passing by this neck of the woods!   ::thumbsup::

And as a side note: Maker's Mark is lowering the alcohol (http://www.wfpl.org/post/makers-mark-reduces-alcohol-volume-meet-demand) in their bourbon from 45% to 42% in order to keep up with demand until they are able to expand their distillery. It's pretty sad to see uncompromising distillers compromise themselves.

I like Jack

I drink Gentleman Jack.  Double filtered, goes down smooth and has a fantastic flavor.

I just got a big bottle of peach flavored shine from a buddy.
Haven't tried it yet but may have a little taste this weekend.

After backlash from customers, the producer of Maker's Mark bourbon is reversing a decision to cut the amount of alcohol in bottles of its famous whiskey.
Rob Samuels, Maker's Mark's chief operating officer, said Sunday that it is restoring the alcohol volume of its product to its historic level of 45 percent, or 90 proof. Last week, it said it was lowering the amount to 42 percent, or 84 proof, because of a supply shortage.

I like to shoot whiskey, it matters not what brand.  When I'm out and about, I just ask for house, but at home I have two or three different brands.

We have a bunch of different makers, and I try them from time to time, but I just can't choke it down.
I know why the natives called it 'fire water', and it just ain't for me.

Dan, try a shot of Gentleman Jack.  I think you will be supprised.

No, you won't.  Sorry, ben, it's nasty stuff, imo.  You want smooth?  Try the Crown Royal Maple.

I like Knob Creek, yum num num.   ;D

PS-Glad to see Maker's backing off alcohol cut, now did anybody ask 'em if the bottle is about to shrink?

I've drank just about everything, including grain and 'shine.  Moved on from Jack and Wild Turkey 101 to Haig & Haig, finally sticking with 12-year-old Johnny Jameson.

For health reasons I drink Gin and tonic.
