The Pirate Bay Goes Back Online (http://falkvinge.net/2013/03/04/after-being-cut-from-norway-the-pirate-bay-returns-from-north-korea/)
The Pirate Bay is back online. Its new provider turned out to be none less than one in North Korea. This has all sorts of interesting geopolitical consequences.
The Pirate Bay is a Torrent site, where one can download another's copy of 'anything' from porn to videogames to movies in tiny chunks. People make careers out of bootlegging and hacking programs and posting them there. . .
The reason this is noteworthy is that TPB is wanted by several countries for copyright violations. Its last loacation, Norway, had dumped it because of pressure from America. There have been a few trials over the site and its crimes. The story says
The world’s most resilient site for safeguarding freedom of expression, going against the political interests of the United States’ elite cronyists, is now run from North Korea. Imagine that
What they mean is: The people who use this site are most likely stealing software/media and claiming innocence. The source is definitly left-biased to be calling property theft 'free-expression'.
Dennis Rodman :love:s Kim Jong (http://www.cnn.com/2013/02/28/showbiz/north-korea-kim-rodman/index.html?hpt=hp_bn9)
Former NBA star Dennis Rodman declared his eternal friendship with North Korea's supreme leader Thursday.
"You have a friend for life," Rodman told Kim Jong Un after the two men sat next to each other watching an unusual basketball exhibition in Pyongyang, North Korea.

Too bad the freak-faced Rodman didn't stay there with his BFF.
-
I can scarcely imagine stranger news than the pilgrimage of Dennis frikkin Rodman to North Korea. It's just bizarre.

They can keep 'em.
Really, after all that self-mutilation there has to be a "no deposit, no return" tat somewhere on that creature.
::hysterical::

TPB move to Korea was apparently a Hoax. . . and I fell for it.

This video is purportedly produced by North Korea to shows its citizens what life is like in America. The hilarious thing is you are hard pressed to tell if it's for real or a spoof, because regimes like NK really are that over the top.
