I figure this topic needs to be reestablished.

Here's an Alaskan Democrat traveling by ferry instead of submitting to a grope-down.

Flew to Jacksonville and back a few days ago....My wife was subjected to the scan on both trips.

The line was rather long, so jokes were passed between a few of us in line, none complementing the new  X(rated) ray machines, our administration or the techniques used to grope granny with the replacement knees.

My emotions were far ranging...from anger to helplessness. It is not pleasant watching a loved one singled out, scanned, understanding what this machine does, watching anyone with a piece of metal in thier bodies stopped, scanned and groped.

I also noticed the burka crowd was not subjected to the same scrutiny.

Our country is assbackwards today.

Probably a good thing my boycott on flying is in effect, I'd be screaming at those idiots to go after the burka crowd!

And I won't even consider flying without first acquiring appropriate TSA-proof underwear!

Comment made by my 29 year old son to a TSA agent on a recent trip:

"Keep your hands to yourself. I may want to have children some day."

He gets that attitude from his mother . . .
