Odd time of year for this stuff...I'm sure eco-nuts will blame the internal combustion engine, coal, and people breathing...

We had severe thunderstorm watches and warnings, and tornado watches and warnings here this afternoon. Things are OK here, but the rain was driven by the 50+MPH winds and horizontal.

People to the west of us were not so fortunate.   :'(

5 dead, many hurt and lots of homes and businesses gone.   ::praying::
