We got hosed!  You add in all the city, county, state, and Fedcoat agencies and departments and we have to give those damned Rooskies a run for thier money!

Yep, I have seen estimates there are around 600,000 Law Enforcement officers in the United States  - that will give you a per capita of about 500. Add in  park rangers, IRS agents, and our own military, and we have the Russians beat by a mile.
