So Pentagon – How ‘bout your chummy relationship with anti-Christian activist?Chad Groening (OneNewsNow.com) Monday, September 30, 2013Judicial Watch has sued the Pentagon for records regarding Department of Defense communications with an anti-Christian activist that began in the very early days of the Obama administration.
Mikey Weinstein has compared evangelical Christians with the Taliban and al-Qaida, and has called for the court-martial of Christian chaplains. The founder of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation also has had access to the highest levels of the Pentagon, including an audience with Air Force Chief of Staff General Norton Schwartz on February 24, 2009 – roughly one month after Barack Obama took office.
Judicial Watch, a public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced last week that it filed a Freedom of Information Act request seeking “all records and communications” between the Pentagon and Weinstein. Chris Farrell, a spokesman for Judicial Watch, says Weinstein's influence has had an adverse effect on religious freedom in the military.

"Different organizations, units, different staffs are paying an awful lot of attention to him,” Farrell tells OneNewsNow. “He has a hair-trigger sensitivity to any reference to a higher power and a determined, concerted effort to eradicate any reference to God. Somehow that offends Mr. Weinstein and he gets bent out of shape and starts demanding that people remove any reference."
Judicial Watch says Americans deserve to know the full truth about just how close the relationship is between the anti-Christian activist and the Obama Department of Defense because there is “increasing intolerance for the First Amendment rights of traditional Christians in today's military.”
