OK, it's on my FBook page.

Speaking of Pet Rescue folks, I have never met a group of people who were more kind and caring in my life. One lady I met keeps about 20 dogs at any give time at her house until they are adopted out. My friend and I are fostering "Buddy", a Beagle-Dachshund mix, after fostering Buddy's dad, a full blood dachshund. It's tough to get attached to a dog and then foster him out.
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

Jeepers. I'm not even fond of pets in general, and that brought a tear to my eye.

On a related side note; the power of music to facilitate a frame of mind or emotional response never ceases to amaze me.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I'd have felt the same if there was no sound at all.

OK now that there isn't a dry eye in the house.I need to know how that poor creature came to be in such a state. What idiot did that to her? I hope that the somofabitch suffers long and hard.
