Why not tax rainwater too to pay for electric cars?
What would prevent a person from driving across the border to Wisconsin, Iowa, North or South Dakota, and purchasing a vehicle there?

Minnesota has already had that problem with people registering in Wisconsin. They will get you.

The car purchased legally taxes paid tags legal what can they charge you with. We are free to register anywhere we have a mailing address that you can use. They can get mad but that's it.

Does it work that way everywhere? My kids both bought cars in Pennsylvania & were not charged sales tax @ the point of sale. When they registered their cars in NJ, they paid the registration fee as well as NJ tax to Motor Vehicles.
