I had heard that the PCR test was not reliable to test for covid but I had no idea how bad it was. I know that the MN govt uses the results to guide lockdowns without any clue as to how many cycles are used in the test. The guy who invented the PCR process is very negative on using it for covid testing. A 12 min video. I read that the virus had never been isolated but thought that was crazy talk. Apparently not.

I've linked to reliable sources who know and commented on that myself and you thought it was crazy talk!?  smdh

Go ahead. Rub it in. Twist the knife.  ::bus::;-)  You were right.  ::thumbsup::

I guess I did not read those links or believe them. I am now more confused than ever. One link having this story I saw elsewhere said covid was a hoax so I discounted the source. It does nasty stuff, nastier than common flu. I always suspected the PCR tests were flaky. Especially when the MN dept of health said they had no idea how many cycles the labs used because they never bothered to ask. They still shut down the state based on the tests.

Compare NY covid 'cases' to NY covid deaths from worldometers.
Recent cases are really high but not deaths. In the spring there were high deaths and moderate numbers of cases.

Ah, sorry; didn't mean to come across harsh.

As far as "It does nasty stuff, nastier than common flu", from where does that come?  I've heard/read it but discounted it as just another lie meant to terrify people.

My father died in December.  The hospital chronicled it as Covid (because he tested positive) but he had been having lung/pneumonia issues long before.  I firmly believe a lot of the "Covid deaths" are nothing of the kind, and a $30K bonus from the .gov for every positive diagnosis sez so.m  Notice nobody's been diagnosed or dying from the flu?

No problem. Sorry to hear about your father. The lack of transparency on covid bothers me greatly. They do not reveal the methods used to determine deaths from covid or the tests used to test for covid.

Some cases of covid attack lungs and other organs from what I read. Unlike common flu. I think covid is 2 or 3 times deadlier than common flu across all ages, but much less deadly than flu for children and much more deadly  for people over 70. The differences between countries is baffling to me. India has fewer covid deaths? Ivor Cummins said that the Oceania region had fewer deaths.

My brother told me last week that he had been near someone who was positive for covid, his daughter. That is all he told me. He started feeling crappy around the first but expected to get better. I only learned that now. Yesterday he went to the clinic. His O2 sat was in the 70s. He went by ambulance to the hospital. I talked to him tonight. I only learned he was in the hospital tonight! They are pumping him full of remdesivir. Convalescent plasma? Some heparin shots. He went in yesterday. He is four years younger than me.

You seem a bit frightened now and I understand.  Take a read through this; it's not as though there's nothing you can do if you start feeling ill:

Also, get yourself on some vitamins D3, C and zinc every day.

From what I've read, India has fewer deaths because for very little money, everyone has access to a package of zinc, Ivermectin, HCQ and an antibiotic -- OTC, no prescription required -- which they take either prophylatically or at the first sign of not feeling well.

I'm still guessing heat (and sunlight) has something to do with this.  It does get worse in the winter.

I concur with Pan and Todd, there are ways to mitigate...and a focus on those with respiratory and immune issues and the elderly especially is prudent...most healthy folks can weather this sans transparent attempts by authorities and politicians to game this (call it a) flu+ issue!  Don't get buried in their BS declarations , BS news and BS statistics...life is easier when you strip away the noise.

FYI - Via WRSA@GAB, and no not the first time this has been discussed...

I take some ivermectin, zinc, vit D3  to try to protect myself. I started out with the horse paste ivermectin but got the India ivermectin one month later.

I am a little pissed at my brother. I sent him some info on ivermectin maybe 2 months ago, just in case. Maybe he did not read it. Also about vit D and zinc.

He had been sick since Feb 1st but did not tell me until last night. I would have had his wife get some horse paste ivermectin at the very least. It might have kept him out of the hospital.

Now he is in the hospital and no one can visit him. I sent him a card over night, down to northern IL. He should get it by Thursday 3 PM at latest. I taped some of my India ivermectin inside the card. I asked him to ask if the doctor was even allowed to give him ivermectin. Some places would rather see you die.

If he takes a turn for the worse or does not get better I hope he takes the ivermectin. He is healthy except for having reduced kidney function due to polycystic kidney disease and I read different accounts if that means he should not take the ivermectin. I will research more. I asked his wife to do some research as well and sent her some links.

Well, pass on the fake-vaccine at all costs!

Not enough dies in the lockdowns...so they're using the fake-vaccine to up the fatalities...

The man who used to mow my lawn caught the Covid in September and was still coughing some last month.  He got the 1st jab because ....... his doctor couldn't tell him how long his immunity/antibodies would last.   foottapping   ::gaah::

The docs are just going by whatever disinfo is going around instead of applying their training and THEIR BRAINS to the issue.

So much for the Hippocratic Oath...but then again integrity flew the coup a long time ago...I'll bet this fop of doc is a lefty...makes giving up and going along so much easier for the already morally and ethically challenged self-deceivers...cause hey, like Hitler's minions and Stalin's minions...no big deal, just following orders...

Get a new doc!  Jesh...can't tell him how long his immune system will last?   ::cussing::  Well, having been jabbed he can now...it's now screwed!!!   ::outrage::

No, not his immune system per se, but the antibodies against the ChinaVirus.

You know, a big deal was made early on about how different this virus is from others and how little is known about it, and then there were the vids of the Chinese falling down dead in the street from it (propaganda, we now know), and some people are still going on about the supposedly long-lasting bad effects from this flu, but basic biology is still in effect.  By September, the docs should (there's that word "should" again) have figured out the antibody issue.

Look at this crap:

https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/cdc-recommends-putting-hosiery-over-your-face-along-with-a-mask/

Quote
Their latest recommendation is “placing a sleeve made of sheer nylon hosiery material around the neck and pulling it up over either a cloth or medical procedure mask,” or using knots and tucking to fit a mask closely to the face.

They came up with these techniques in experiments with mannequins in a lab and have not tested them on actual humans. They have no empirical data, and the study even warns:

The findings of these simulations should neither be generalized to the effectiveness of all medical procedure masks or cloths masks nor interpreted as being representative of the effectiveness of these masks when worn in real-world settings.

And there’s also this warning: “Double masking might impede breathing or obstruct peripheral vision.”

As Phil Kerpen of the Committee to Unleash Prosperity pointed out in an interview with National Review: “The media loves the idea of double-masking ...

Now they're just trolling us.

And the friggin media!  If it wasn't for them pushing, pushing the masking, we might have done away with some of it by now.

Whutchusayin'?  A common essential trace element, antibiotic and anti-parasitic treatment is all it takes?

Must be anti-science/anti-vaccine/anti-globalist-obedience propaganda!

I trust the FDA. Just not the US FDA. I bought the horse paste ivermectin a while back.
My vit D level is at 50, where 30- 90 is said to be "standard range."

I emailed some relatives again about vit D and IVM. "The US FDA does not care if you die, as long as they can gather data and shuffle papers."  I mailed my brother some India IVM while he was in the hospital. Better late than never. He is home now, on oxygen. I told him to save the IVM in case someone else netheded it (and was smart enough to take it I almost added). I had emailed him about vit D months ago. He later, in the hospital emailed me that he took a multi vitamin. I think that he thinks I am pushing witch doctor medicine.

I emailed the vit D chart to a friend, a Harvard trained oncologist. She was shocked
