I wonder how many "takes" had to happen to get one recovery and one launch done?
http://www.theblaze.com/stories/see-chinas-first-successful-fighter-jet-landing-on-an-aircraft-carrier/I see many interesting things here in this video -
1) Looks like Pu pants caught the last wire, and if he had missed that, he had very little room to get airborn again before plowing into the sea.
2) That's a big plane for a smallish carrier, not going to be carry much of those.
3) I wonder how close to stall speed that thing came to as it popped off the ski jump?
4) We know nothing of the real capability of this aircraft in terms of practical performance, manuevability, defensive or offensive capability.
I think the ChiCom's has a nice PR op but they are a several years removed from putting out a credible navy air component of modest strength.
Keep spending the Yuan's though. Oh, and you got at least a 3-4 more years to rob our patent office, maybe less, better get crackin'!
