Yeah, he was with his mom in Indonesia till she brought him back and left him with his grandparents in Hawaii where grandpa's drinking buddy Frank Davis became his mentor. What period of time in his life he traveled to Pakistan using an Indonesian passport I'm not sure.
Remember? He said the morning call to prayer was one of the most beautiful sounds.

http://www.redstate.com/repair_man_jack/2011/03/02/not-just-the-crazy-train-%E2%80%93-but-high-speed-rail/Now I know it’s uncivil to call a man of God like Reverend Mike a fire-breathing racist, but I’m struggling with the euphemisms this fine morning, so bear with me please. Maybe Huckabee just has a policy-driven problem with Kenyan upbringings. Perhaps, but I think he plays right into the hands of every Liberal in America would rather talk about concealed racism than gasoline prices. Huckabee has gone beyond rationality and into the cuckoo-land of Nutjobistan. I don't like Huckabee but ...... .and it's a good thing RedState cleaned house of all the kooks too.

Mebbe. Mebbe not. I don't believe Obama is a U.S. citizen. I DO believe that Bill Ayers taught Obama everything he learned about creating false identities he learned while living underground all those years with his terrorist wife and buddies.

Just as an aside... When I'm on the homepage and this topic is in the list to the right, it says: "Re; Huckabee shoots self..." Carry on.

Huckabee's a quack... but no matter where he's really from, it ain't here. From what I've seen, he's using a CT SSN, and has never lived in CT! He was disbarred from practicing in IL for using false ID & SSN's. No records of Baptism... No records of his college days... No records of his kindergarten years... This country elected a manchurian candidate. We're f**ked.
And the call to prayer is about as creepy a sound as humans can make. Worse still that it's played in parts of this country.

You guys just don't see the humor in this story. Ace does and holds a conversation with himself over it: ME: Hey, how about those Crazy Birthers, huh?
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Oh, I don't know. What about them?
ME: Oh, they have this outlandish theory that Obama was born overseas.
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Where was he born?
ME: Hawaii.
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: That is overseas.
ME: No, but I mean in a foreign country.
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Why do they think that?
ME: Oh, it's crazy. They think that because he won't release his long-form birth certificate.
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Oh. Um... why won't he release it?
ME: I don't know. No one knows. In fact, the White House never actually says why he won't release it. In fact, no reporter even ever asks the exact reason for refusing to release it. But it's crazy that the Birthers think this, huh?
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Wait, I'm confused, why doesn't he just release it?
ME: That's not the point. Aren't the Birthers insane?
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Yeah, probably, sure. I assume most people who have passionate political views are insane, usually. That's why I'm not into politics. But let's go back one step -- you have no idea why he refuses to release the birth certificate?
ME: None at all! It's a mystery. But put that out of mind -- aren't these Birthers nuts for asking about it?
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Um, maybe. Have other presidents refused to release their birth certificates?
ME: None, ever, that we know of, at least since such bureaucratic records were kept! But you're missing the point -- aren't the Birthers batsh*t bugf**k nuts to ask what the big mystery is?
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Um, I'm starting to wonder.
ME: Oh, that's crazy.
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: If what you're telling me is right, there is a dispute, and it's within his power to resolve the dispute, but he won't resolve it. Is that right?
ME: Yep. 100% right.
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: So why is that crazy?
ME: Because the Birthers rely on a dubious chain of coincidence and collusion to postulate a theory about the reasons for why he's withholding it.
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Okay, right, but still -- why doesn't he release it?
ME: No idea! He just won't!
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: What's the big problem?
ME: No one knows! No one even asks!
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: I don't see what the problem is in releasing your birth certificate.
ME: Because it's crazy to even think this way.
HYPOTHETICAL INDEPENDENT: Um.... okay. Why doesn't he release it, again? Very long essay with the above as a small part of it. Very funny in parts.
