I know I think about it, at least. I've stopped patronizing films by certain actors and actresses - although, I'd be the first to admit my criteria is subjective. Some people are jjst easier to hate than others - some films are easier to avoid than others.
I'll never pay money again to see Sean Penn, Tim Robbins, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Susan Sarandon, and a few mittfuls of others. I can't see them as anything other than who they really are, and thus, I am unable to suspend my disbelief and become immersed in whatever character they portray.
Others, like Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks, Morgan Freeman, etc, I choose to ignore their asininity because their body of work is enjoyable enough for me to put it aside for a couple hours.
I like the ones who keep their mouths shut outside the movie screen.
