‘Smokin’ Joe Frazier loses his battle against liver cancer

Joe Frazier, one of the biggest sports icons of the 1960s and 70s,  passed away tonight from liver cancer at the age of 67. He was diagnosed less than six weeks ago and spent his final days in a Philadelphia-area hospice.

Joe was a class act.
The 3 fights with Ali were some of boxing's greatest.

One other fight I remember was his fight with Foreman. He was pummeled. I remember Foreman's punches literally lifted him off the ground.

His style wasn't real suited to fight a Foreman. But his heart was huge
