I refuse to accept my civil servants as my rulers

My alarms were ringing when the Huckster came out with this ad in the '08 primary campaign.

What Really Matters

The cynical use of a glowing crucifix to send a signal to evangelical primary voters was apparent to me in one glance. Imagery like that doesn't happen by accident. I resented the implication of his cynical use of my faith, and any chance that I would ever trust him was nuked in that moment.

Then he tried to deny it. (:40)

Host Laughs At Huck Over Floating Cross

This pathetic attempt to lie his way out of his shameful pandering confirmed my disgust for this charlatan.

All that said, I think Mike Huckabee has a role. He espouses a version of conservatism that attracts some people. Innocent life is a worthy cause, and Huckabee is unwavering in that regard. So I don't despise him utterly  - as a talk show host and media personality. I do despise and distrust him as a politician, utterly.

She's obviously never listened.  Of them all, Rush is LEAST likely to yell at anyone.

I don't think she does.  I think she uses that as an excuse not to listen...and learn

(She still thinks Anita Hill was right)

Huckaboob uses a fake caller for very first call.

In character.

 hysterical

arrogant

--in that they didn't think anyone would figure it out

weak

--in that if they were so confident in their strategy to unseat Rush they wouldn't resort to lame tactics

A plant....lololol....

I believe callers to his show have a topic of discussion. Wouldn't it be appropriate for the majority of his callers to ask if he recognized the voice of the panted caller......what is his association with the plant.....did he know in advance of the plant......what are his feelings on a planted caller.....

Or maybe this controversy was planned to get people to listen.

I think the Huckster and the caller are both plants!

They do good imitations of daffodils.

I think the Huckster and the caller are both plants!

They do good imitations of daffodils.

Daffodils should only be in vases or poems!

"Daffodils" (1804)
I WANDER'D lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine

And twinkle on the Milky Way,
They stretch'd in never-ending line

Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they

Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,

In such a jocund company:
I gazed -- and gazed -- but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie

In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye

Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

By William Wordsworth (1770-1850).
