The group Americans Elect has gone down the tubes. In my opinion they were set up to siphon votes from the Republican party so I see it as a very good thing that it has failed.
LINKIt was perhaps the most well-funded start to an aspirational “third party” in the last few decades, and it had plenty of higher-profile support.
