Look! Spending is almost flat!Ignore the fact that Obama signed the 2009 budget because the democrat control senate refused to give it to Bush, or that most of Fiscal 2009 was on Obama's watch! Look the other way when the Senate then proceeds to just not pass budgets anymore! Don't count the significant portion of TARP Bush left for Obama to spend, or the fact that Obama spent the funds that were paid back! Look Obama is only increasing spending on average by 4% - Half of what Reagan did. Obama is God! Fred has $100 to spend. Next year Fred spends $108 - an increase of 8% Then Fred increases spending to $150 a year to pay for an emergency. Don't worry we will ony do it one time! And Fred then leaves and hands me the checkbook. But now I spend $158 the next year - an increase of "only" 5%. See how much better I am at this than Fred? I spent $58 more they he usually did, but I am keeping government growth in check! Oh, and I don't have an approved budget or anything, but a Unicorn told me we will spend less money next year. So really I think we should say that I, on average, only increased spending by 4%. The worst part is that Democrats are dumb enough to fall for this.

 Well, come on this is easy... All you have to is plot total spending each year and connect the dots, then tilt the chart until the line is perfectly horizontal! Viola! No increase in spending at all! It's magic! / Yes, Democrats do treat everyone as if they are the most ignorant creature ever to inhabit the earth. Yes, this BS gets old for those of us with a normal functioning brain. The problem is there are a lot of idiots out there, so a fair amount of Dem manure is going to be bought. I think the economic fight in this campaign is going to be fought and won using the tactics we just employed here, lots of reeducation dripping with ridicule...and we should not pass up any opportunity to visually present data to back up our proof...people are largely visually oriented...seeing is believing. Let the show begin! |

Just barely. There was no sense of humor in that thread, and I already felt on thin ice just pointing out that it's probably the best thing that's ever happened to Cupp's career. And yes, I listened to Beck last night and he and Cupp were milking it for all it's worth.

I think what set them off was a guy who obviously doesn't take himself too seriously suggested that S E Cupp would make a great name for a porn star. I refrained from suggesting no, more of an exotic dancer kind of name, and only if you add an 's' to Cupp.  But I didn't  |

In the end, the funniest way this story is derailed is just to point out the fact that the F'2009 budget wasn't passed until March 2009, after SCoaMF took office...
Which is also the last time Democrats have passed a budget!
