Alea iacta est!

"As many as 1.76 million young illegal immigrants could qualify for temporary legal status under President Obama's deferred action program, says a new report from the Migration Policy Institute."
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/lookout/deferred-action-program-could-legalize-1-8-million-221839009.html

This must not be allowed to happen, period!  Every candidate for office must go on record on this issue, no if's and's or but's!

Congress from both parties has been trying to figure out a political way to offer amnesty for over a decade. Now they have a President who is willing to take it upon his shoulders.

I would think that to people like McCain, Graham, Jeb Bush, and George W. Bush, Barack Obama's executive order is a literal godsend - not because of the political weapon it provides, but because of the amnesty it provides without them having to accept responsibility or blame. They can now just point to Obama and say that he's the one who did it. The Dems don't even have to go on record.

Amnesty for illegal aliens begins today

... as  House Judiciary chairman Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas) and Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) told DHS Secretary Napolitano in an August 13th letter, there are no mechanisms in place to detect, deter, or to punish fraud.

Read somewhere that another Tea Partyer (Florida) is unexpectedly
surging.  This ship is making a steady turn to starboard.  Soon, we
may have leadership we can trust, then we can pursue a definitive
policy and trust it to be carried out.   Nobody will be pleased with
the decision but they will be pleased that the line is drawn and
adhered to.

West won his primary bid with 75% of the vote in Saint Lucie county and 60% in Palm beach county. It was a walk.

Yes, indeed CO. His name is Ted Yoho. He won the primary yesterday against Cliff Sterns. Won by just shy of 900 votes.

Looks like West takes on some dude named Murphy.

I don't see Wasserface, either FL SecState finds it too embarassing to list or she ran unopposed...?

http://enight.dos.state.fl.us/FederalOffices/

According to this (look way down) it was uncontested.
