People aren't going to "wake up" to any of these threats, because frankly most people are simply low intellects who only care to be continuously titillated by beer, football, Dancing With The Stars, and other mindless pop culture.
There are times when I look at the Democrats and actually marvel at the sheer cynicism of their leadership. Sometimes I feel like a population so anesthetized and stupid simply deserves to be used and manipulated like this. Offer the idiots shiny trinkets in the form of this or that government giveaway, and keep yourself in a permanent position of wealth and power. They're essentially managing the population like livestock. That's why I've taken to referring to society as a human barn yard.
