What ails me
« on: January 28, 2025, 06:57:29 PM »

I have had some recent pains I cannot figure out. They came on weeks go.
It hurts a little to go up stairs. The pain feels like muscle pain above my knees.
I dog sat at my son's house.
I noticed that I could not get up off the floor without pulling myself up like using a chair.
This does not feel like it is in the knee joint. More like where the muscle connects to the knee.
I asked my younger brother if he could get off the floor without pulling as he said no.
Maybe I am just weak and should climb stairs more for starters.

Obvious things come to mind...but you should get that checked out...

If muscular pain...it should go away or you may need some PT...

If ligaments some anti-inflammatory treatment and exercises for tendons would be in order...

If nerves like sciatica could involve PT/meds/surgery...but you didn't mention any back pain...

If you have a telehealth option or doc is close by you should have a consult...hopefully it isn't anything very serious...
