Why lie about the motive being a movie when the truth would serve Obama admin better? Obama and Hillary both knew the movie was not the motive so there must be a reason for lying? Why panic when the truth would do?
If you say that every intelligence screw up or any terror act is the direct responsibility of the US president that is a reach IMO. If you want to say that then what about WTC bombing, USS Cole, 9/11. African embassies, etc? Obama could have accepted responsibility then the NYT would note that there were only 4 body bags which is low for a US intelligence failure.
The CIA was so close bc they were transferring Libyan weapons to Syria via Turkey. This used to be a conspiracy theory now accepted as fact. Obama wrote an executive order calling for regime change in Syria. See operation Timber Sycamore. When the CIA people returned to US for the funerals they were first taken away to remind them of their non disclosure agreements.
There was talk of exchanging some people for the Blind Sheikh. Remember how generous Obama was in getting the US deserter back in Afghanistan.
When the crowd approached the consulate they shouted "Morsi sent us." The mortars were walked in by skilled people not some protesters. Norsi had an interest in getting the Blind Sheikh back.
The Ambassador was not killed by gunfire or mortars. he died of smoke inhalation. As if they were trying to capture him not kill him. One theory was that the ambassdor was to be taken and exchanged for the Blind Sheikh. Another is that this was true and Obama knew of it hence the panic over this gone wrong.
