The EastMed pipeline would enable Israel to export natural gas to mainland Europe by way of Greece and Cyprus. Thereby reducing Europe’s dependence on Russia for it’s energy needs. The alliance between Israel, Greece, and Cyprus is also a way to isolate Turkey for it’s provocative behavior in the region.

Once again, the Biden Administrations foreign policy is a dangerous joke. There will be serious consequences for the Biden Administrations unbelievably feckless foreign policy in the years ahead.

Agreed.  Though it depends how much they are getting in aid from the US, how good their lobby is and how material the support is I suspect.  Israel in a better position to resist than Greece & Crete...Greece is still a total basket case...and Crete is so miniscule and arguably the weakest link of all
