Minneapolis under previous dipsh*t Mayor "Bike-lane" Betsy did this and it succeeded in bringing commuter traffic (you know those poor bastards needing to commute from saner neighborhoods to sh*t neighborhoods and back home again) to a nightmarish standstill and did more to endanger pedestrian and bicycle traffic...which up until then was limited to the carnage at crossings with the dumbass light rail boondoggle line...
Taking stupid Marxist ideas that effed up one city and exporting it to all is not a wise plan, certainly not a plan any state or local government need follow...so the best the latter can do is tell Petey to pound sand!
