Not Russian but Georgian
US wrecked cars are sent to Georgia where mechanics fix and resell them. Not sold (directly) to Russia after the invasion but indirect likely
https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/crl8187l920o?utm_source=pocket-newtab-en-us

The small South Caucasus nation of Georgia has become a multi-billion dollar hub for the international used car market. The vehicles are mostly sourced from the US, and many appear to be ending up in Russia.

On the dusty outskirts of Rustavi, an industrial town 20km (12 miles) southeast of Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, is a vast area of open-air carparks.

Equivalent in size to more than 40 football pitches, it hosts thousands of vehicles up for sale.

You can find pretty much any automobile your heart desires - Mercedes, Porsches, Jaguars, Toyotas and, more recently, Teslas. They are all here.

Yeah, that's not stealthy...

And screws/static display aside...for sake of argument say that issue is resolved...RAM is employed etc...it does not have a stealthy form...

Russians as always build things big and powerful because of an abundance of titanium vs stealth performance...

And don't get me going on that Chi-Com J-20...that thing is all hat no cattle...total Go Shi!

I always had a a positive view of US military tech since the gulf wars. Especially aviation especially the ability to project power using aircraft carriers, tankers. The F35s must be really good since so many countries are buying them. I wonder if they have a weakness as there are rumors.  I recall of the smart weapons going through windows in the gulf war.

But I also recall simulations and war games where US aircraft carriers in theater near China would last maybe 40 minutes.

The US spends almost 1 trillion per year on military. That is a lot.

Then I saw some video on maybe 5 Russian weapon systems. Why doesn't the US have these?
I recall hypersonics, that ICBM that can circle the south pole and hit US, the nuke powered cruise missile, the doomsday torpedo that can cause a tsunami, and maybe a new nuke sub fleet. Also the EW systems and all the S300 and S400 systems.

I wonder if the US is spending wisely.

So this extends from  Blagoveshchensk RU on the Amur river.
https://www.enerdata.net/publications/daily-energy-news/pipechina-completes-38-bcmyear-china-russia-east-route-gas-pipeline.html

China's National Oil and Gas Pipeline Network Group (PipeChina) has announced the completion of the 38 bcm/year China-Russia east-route natural gas pipeline, and that the pipeline has now entered its final commissioning phase. The east-route pipeline spans 5,111 km, including 3,371 km of newly built sections.

The Chinese section starts in Heihe, Heilongjiang Province, on the border with Russia, and extends southward through 9 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, all the way to Shanghai. Once fully operational, the pipeline will supply natural gas to three eastern provinces, Northeast China, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, and the Yangtze River Delta, in volumes sufficient to meet the annual gas needs of 130 million Chinese households.

The east-route pipeline is connected to the Power of Siberia pipeline which transports Russian gas to China. A second project, Power of Siberia 2, is currently under consideration and could have a capacity of 50 bcm/year.

Meanwhile,, in the US, how are new pipelines doing?

There have been videos of the Su-57 at a China air show. But I hear they are Tu-50-4, a prototype.

The sub reddit AskaRussian is good. When asked about discrimination one group is mentioned some people from the central Asian countries as I recall they are called. There are Russian republics that are Islamic and these have the rights of others. They all have Russian passports and no regional passports as in USSR. There are also foreign countries that are Islamic and they require visas.

I wonder who the new laws apply to. All the Russian republics teach Russian plus a local language and they teach these at the same period across Russia using the same materials.

Yes, the Russian public school system will not provide free education (public schools) to children of foreigners who do not pass a basic language test, but they will be able to attend private schools.

American Youtuber Tommy "Sabbatical" jailed for weeks in Russia in the same place Mr. Bald was.  I watched the whole thing. Sad.
He was told he would be fined for being within 20 km of the border without a permit. Then they viewed his mostly pro Russian videos and found the word "invasion" so charged him with discrediting the military. Then perhaps with resisting arrest. Confusing. He spent 15 days in jail.

Tommy got arrested outside Birobidzhan when out wandering without his passport and filming a bridge near the Chinese border.

He references Mr. Bald and says he was held in the same police station/jail. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZzXEJ3bcw4

Birobidzhan reminds me of evil so called "speed traps' in the old US South. They would trap northerners passing through and shake them down. Sometimes with jail terms until they could pay up. This place looked into the blog history of Mr. Bald and Sabbatical and found something to charge them with. Why this place? Why could they travel elsewhere in Russia without problems?

Note that the Russian Chinese border is no longer contested and is the Amur River where he was arrested and also in Blagoveshchensk which is on a major RR line. Just because the Russian govt can find a law to charge him with does mean they have to. This was a PR loss for the Russians that was not needed.

Here is the Russian Chinese border in Blagoveshchensk. China is in the background across the Amur River. . It is often filmed. Video bloggers have traveled to Blagoveshchensk before. Did they need a permit?

Their private schools charge I take it, meaning there is a cost, or as hyper-socialists view it there is a punishment for being foreign...

What bothered me is how inconsistent this vlogger treatment is with all the vlogs I have watched over time from Russia. And both incidents were from the same place.. Being too close to the border w/o a permit? Pleeeez. There are at least 50 video blogs from Blagoveshchensk which in on the RR line and borders China across the Amur River. People cross the bridge to shop and eat Chinese food in Heihe. It is not a high security area.

I have watched countless videos from the ADVChina guys, many others from Russia and Vietnam. The ADVChina guys rode motorcycles through all China provinces. I almost always get a much better impression than I had before the videos. Venezuela was as dangerous as I thought and varied with region. Iran seemed like 1950s America. I loved the Iran hitch hiking videos. Cuba was much worse than I thought.

The most mind blowing video from Russia I saw was from Gorky Park dancing, from Moscow. NOT what I expected.

That border town Blagoveshchensk is not the problem. Birobidzhan  is the center of the Jewish Autonomous District. That is the problem.
It is sh*thole almost no one goes to.

Blagoveshchensk has a bridge across the Amur river to Heihe China. It is also the crossing point of some major pipelines as I recall.

Some marshal arts club in Russia. They ask each person their ethnicity or where they are from.

In the WWII siege of Leningrad the cats were eaten so the rat population got out of control. After the siege lots of cats were imported to the city.

Yeah. It was the siege of Leningrad. They were starving. I recall Putin lost a brother. His father was tossed on a pile of corpses but his mom pulled him off because he was still breathing.

Civilians: Between 800,000 and 1,200,000 people died, primarily from starvation, as well as from bombings, cold, and disease. The Finns helped with the siege.
