Watching The Day of the Jackal for free on youtube with ads.
Imagine having a govt as competent as the govt portrayed in the movie trying to track down the would be assassin.
So far so good. I saw it long ago and forgot much.
Some criminal provided him with fake ID and documents. Then tried to shake him down for more money. That plot twist has been copied in other movies. Does not end well for the criminal.

Much more involved than I remember.  A fake gay sub plot has been used since also.

Yes.The original. I wonder if the remake is the movie that copied some elements. The original is long but very good.

Heh!  So true, they open their mouths...and prove how elitist and narcissistic they really are...

And the truly stupid ones get political...

That is something that continues to floor me...doesn't surprise me, folks in entertainment fields for decades running just keep alienating and polarizing people...and pissing off half (or whatever the real percentage is, I say it's higher) your potential ticket-buying public...to me is the epitome of batshyt-effing crazy...

But, for the vast majority of them, this is who they are, and they are incapable of change, will never change...

I for one try my best not to subsidize them.
