I have often wondered if "Bo Snerdley" is really one person, or if it is just the fictitious name Rush gives to whomever happens to be his producer.

It appears that James Golden has been with Rush, even since his days in television.

Not quite correct. The name refers exclusively to the show's call screener. Golden has been the call screener longer than anyone else and has been the show's producer for the last decade or so.

I remember that in the 1990's Golden left Limbaugh's organization to pursue a personal commercial venture...he came back (quietly) at some point and what happened was never discussed to the best of my knowledge.

In the very early days it was several, but this "Bo" has been with Rush for at least 15 years, I believe.  Maybe I can look it up somewhere...

2001, official call screener/producer/engineer, after working on Rush's TV show.
