I was impressed by my anthropology course in college. In the cultural part we read lots of case studies.  The rule for the people who wrote them seemed to be:watch listen, shut up amongst the locals.

I have watched maybe 10x more from the Kiev side than the Russian side because they produce at least that much more. I won't produce all my basis and reasoning here. I have concluded that the Kiev faction is driven by hate, spite and often by a belief in their genetic superiority over the Russians. They do things that hurt them. They do not act rationally.

What did they hope to accomplish by a strike on the Chernobyl nuke plant? That is a serious question.

The Kursk offensive seems to be a PR stunt done in the hopes of getting more money from the west. So that might have worked for that purpose. In pure military sense it was doomed to fail. Their losses have been horrendous and it will not be a bargaining chip.  The Germans invaded Russia with millions and lost. What did Kiev hope to do?

Nothing new. Retreating Ukr soldiers kill some civilians who did not want to retreat with them.  I saw lots of such civilian testimony in Mariupol years ago. This is consistent with their stated ideology. They are not shy about stating their ideology. The Kiev govt was not always like this. Mostly after the coup and it got worse round 2005 according to a professor in Lvov.

??Evidence of mass murders of civilians in the city of Selidovo by the Kiev regime.

Warning! The video contains footage demonstrating the atrocities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and evidence of mass murders.

Ukrainian militants executed the families of Kuchurinskaya street 89 during their retreat from the city.

No different than our so-called "democrats"...

I've seen no conclusive evidence illustrating who hit the old nuke plant...but no radiological danger beyond what it started with so don't really care...

As for Kursk...capturing territory is a fairly typical strategy...it's ultimate success is yet to be determined...and the cost for both sides is yet to be independently verified but I am guess not swell for anybody...

Always dubious of claims, but hey...after the war ends both sides can present evidence to The Hague and see what happens...

Hard to trust any news coming out of this mess...not like either side likes independent journalists around...not that most outfits even have anything like independent journalists either...

Kellogg's questionnaire asking Euro's what they can offer for security guarantees and Trump's notification Euro's won't be involved in talks with Moscow didn't go over too well...

I long ago was disgusted over the lack of action by EU countries re Ukraine. It was obvious that the 2014 Us backed coup would lead to civil war  which would drag in Russia and the west. This would result in X million refugees and economic harm to EU  from the sanctions to follow. Just for these reasons the EU countries should have leaned on Kiev to prevent a war.

Germany, France, Russia worked together on Minsk 1 and 2 between Kiev govt and the so called separatists.  Later Germany, France, and Ukraine leaders all said Minsk was a ruse to buy time for Kiev to arm up. What did they think would happen?
Then the UK and likely others sabotaged the Istanbul tentative agreement.

So now the EU held an emergency meeting whining about being left out of current negotiations. It is too late for that now you morons. You had your chances before.

I expect their fecklessness, cowardice, laziness, stupidity and especially their repugnant spoiled-brat attitude...

So nothing about them surprises me, they just keep proving me right and I keep loathing them...

This is pretty hilarious...but not unexpected...

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2025/02/18/watch-closely-zelenskyy-cancels-pre-planned-trip-to-saudi-arabia/

He seems pretty clueless that having a publicized tantrum and piping off like this is probably not going to go over well over here...as is hitting some infrastructure partly owned by Americans...but, I don't GAFF...he's making himself a hindrance to peace...and eventually something will break and it won't be good for Ukraine...but, again I repeat myself...I don't GAFF...Ukraine goes along with the Trump Plan or they go alone...

We and Russia agreed to a mechanism for talks and re-staffing our respective embassies...

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2025/02/18/u-s-and-russia-agree-to-communication-and-consultation-mechanism-for-peace-talks-embassy-staffing-will-return-in-moscow-and-dc/

...that is a good first step.  The process of deescalating tensions and ending this stupid conflict have begun.  Trump has a good team in place, one which should be fully capable of dealing with whatever Putin may throw at them.  Get us some Reaganesque "trust but verify" resolutions to all issues.  The last section of the clip is intriguing as to the possibilities that could be achieved as this process goes on.

 ::thumbsup::

Meanwhile, looks like one of the weepy Germans let the cat out of the bag about a big Euro-aid package for Z, so seems his begging trip suckered some Euro's in...

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Vice President J.D. Vance warned the Ukrainian president against attacking President Trump, saying that 'badmouthing' him in public would only backfire.

Vance answered Volodomyr Zelensky’s accusation that Trump is living in a Russian-made 'disinformation space.'

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Trump does not intend to tolerate escalation of rhetoric from Zelensky — White House

Today Trump told Zelensky that he’s a dictator.

What a wild ride.

President Trump – Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn’t be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the U.S. and “TRUMP,” will never be able to settle. The United States has spent $200 Billion Dollars more than Europe, and Europe’s money is guaranteed, while the United States will get nothing back. Why didn’t Sleepy Joe Biden demand Equalization, in that this War is far more important to Europe than it is to us — We have a big, beautiful Ocean as separation.

On top of this, Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is “MISSING.” He refuses to have Elections, is very low in Ukrainian Polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden “like a fiddle.” A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left. In the meantime, we are successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia, something all admit only “TRUMP,” and the Trump Administration, can do. Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring Peace, and Zelenskyy probably wants to keep the “gravy train” going. I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died – And so it continues….

This is likely to stir a big controversy, but it is needed.
.
.
.
This is why I said, “at a certain moment, likely as a part of a media question, someone is going to ask President Trump why a certain action was taken by his administration in the Ukraine conflict. President Trump will respond by saying, “we didn’t do that.”  The puzzled media will repeat the question. President Trump will again say, no one in my administration did that. …. And suddenly, things will reveal.”
.
.
.
It makes sense for President Trump to start this conversation by pointing out the Zelenskyy factor within it.  It was a logical prediction to look at the scope of the problem and see Zelenskyy as the Gordion knot that needs to be cut.

Unfortunately for all of us, this is a very concerning -albeit necessary- conversation to have.

President Trump now has the challenge to guide this awakening carefully.  It is a very concerning realization for our country to accept that representative government is not in control of things, the amorphous Intelligence Community is at the center of it.

Keep watching.

Yup.  Many just nodded and went along by varying degrees of faux drama...and the toxic-leftist-media just parroted the same script the DeepState gave them...  Asking questions jno matter how proper and relevant just got a chorus of grade-school bullies yelping "Putin puppet" et al.  Breaking away from the false narrative of the DeepState and their sundry surrender monkeys and propagandists is going to require a steady hand and a sharp scalpel.

The Euro monkey component is being dispatched to Dc to....what?  Beg, plead, cry...try to move Trump from sanity to insanity?

This is going to be pathetic...

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2025/02/19/french-president-macron-and-british-pm-starmer-coming-to-u-s-to-discuss-ukraine-with-president-trump/

What does granny-tranny-lover aka UnHoly Macron or Keir "Goebbels" Starmer have to offer and cajole Trump into caving into BS these idiots want?  They have two options and two options only - accept our lead...or drive us away.

Good luck, morons!
