Well, I'll be hornswoggled. Another record year in the weather history books. Looks like the record is the fewest tornadoes on record. Let's see how many excuses the "Climate Change" promoters will come up with.

Where's Al Gore when you need him. My guess he will be silent. ::thinking::

Hehe. Perfect timing Miltrainer. I've been having an ongoing discussion with my mother-in-law for the past couple days.
She thinks Global Warming is real, because of how the weather and temperatures are becoming more and more severe. More tornados. More Hurricanes. More forest fires. Blahblahblah.
I've been telling her the stuff in this article, and about "ClimateGate", and she hasn't been inclined to believe me.
Bwahahahaha.

Of the tornadoes that occurred, how many were extremely violent and caused deaths and/or destruction of towns and villages? Were they more violent than in the past?
I do believe in climate change; it's been changing back and forth for the entire life of our planet. The earth heats up, the earth cools down, it gets wetter, it gets drier, and none of it is due to human activities.
I do not go around trumpeting it, though, nor do I support allborable in any way.

Lo and behold, scientists are surprised to learn that the gigantic star our whole planet orbits actually influences the oscillation of ocean temperatures, which in turn have dramatic effects on global weather.

What I find amazing is that we are so more accurate than 50 years or 150 years ago. Back in 1884 the US population was under 50 million. There were probably many tornadoes that weren't seen and never reported. Now we have a population of over 300 million. With all of the satellites, radar and trained spotters. we miss far less. I bet back in 1884, if a tornado hit in Nebraska, many did not even know it had happened especially at night. the population was was also extremely small and it was hard to cover all the areas a tornado could possibly hit.

Indeed. With modern Doppler radar, virtually every tornado is now detected even if there's never a single person anywhere near it.

May be. Folks have reported local tornado sightings and the weather weenies scoff because it doesn't appear/hasn't appeared on their radar. Because experts .......

They are unhappy because there are too few horrific incidents to blame on mankind and justify their sad devotion to a false religion...then when they happen they are unhappy because not enough people convert to their false religion...basically they are unhappy and want every soul on the planet to be as unhappy as they are.
The solution to the real problem is obvious.

They worship the Creation, not the Creator. They've been around in some form or another since the beginning of time. I think the Bible even makes mention of those who cannot discern the difference.
The amusing thing about the current ones is that they think they're beyond superstition and mysticism -- then again, Leftists have never been known for having a highly refined self-awareness.
