H/T: Small Dead Animals (http://www.smalldeadanimals.com/archives/honey-i-finishe-209.html)
This is a pretty ingenious way of removing a ring that is stuck on a finger. I've heard the more common techniques, like using soap or vegetable oil as a lubricant, but when that doesn't work a doctor usually has to resort to cutting the ring off. This ER doc demonstrates his alternate method, and says he's never had to cut a ring off before.

Stellar! I am so going to have to remember this!
(O' course, considering the doc is, like, twelve, never having had to cut a ring off is ..... Well, if he can still say the same when he's forty, that's something else again.)

Well, Pan. I hope you're happy. You sure managed to rain on his parade. ::laughonfloor::
Neat trick, though.
