Title: How to remove a stuck ring from a swollen finger

This is a pretty ingenious way of removing a ring that is stuck on a finger. I've heard the more common techniques, like using soap or vegetable oil as a lubricant, but when that doesn't work a doctor usually has to resort to cutting the ring off. This ER doc demonstrates his alternate method, and says he's never had to cut a ring off before.

(O' course, considering the doc is, like, twelve, never having had to cut a ring off is .....   Well, if he can still say the same when he's forty, that's something else again.)
