§ 8. Respect for Flag.

 (d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery.

This is widely ignored, but it applies to this situation. A  t-shirt is clothing.

I always took that to mean the material the clothing is made of. A flag patch or decal which displays the whole flag would be OK, wouldn't it?

Even if not okay, not the point.  The ruling wasn't made on that basis, it was to "prevent violence" from the illegal invaders at having "their" holiday desecrated by the appearance of the US flag in the US.

I'm not particularly enchanted with my country in its present incarnation right now but you know who will be sporting the stars and stripes this 5/5/14

I love my country.     I hate our present government.

They are not the same thing,  not by a long shot.

Hmmm, how about they take that La Raza rag and light that shyt on fire, draw swatikas on it and all the other shyt smelly leftists do to our flag under freedom of speech?  Maybe some Che t-shirts riddled with bullet holes and blood and lettering like "One down, more to come"?!
