Not possible until the advent of camera phones, social media and the very real decline in morals and values.
SAN MATEO -- Sexual harassment of teachers by students is rampant at Serra High, a teacher claims in a lawsuit filed Thursday against the prestigious all-boys Catholic school, describing a sordid "boys will be boys" atmosphere where kids competed to get up-skirt videos of their female instructors.
Kimberly Bohnert claims that administrators failed to protect her over two years of humiliation that also involved sexually explicit tweets, graffiti and an online image reproduced by a number of athletes at the school.
Stupidity all around from the school administration (that knew there was a problem for two or three years and did nothing until a teacher went to the police whereupon they then destroyed evidence to hide their culpability) to the parents of the asshole students who appear to be *surprise* high school athletes, a protected class in modern society.
Punishment will be almost exclusively dished out in the form of a settlement that will affect future school enrollment costs. The students, being juveniles and first time offenders will get a stern talking to.

Another curious case of inmates running the asylum meeting nanny state bureaucrats, indifferent parents & secular societies mixed messages and hostility toward morality in general?

The most frustrating part of the whole story for me is this is taking place in a Catholic school. The standards should be much higher. Sadly, private schools have taken to "recruiting" athletic talent just like colleges. In doing so, they also seem to be willing to accept feral behavior.

Not allowed to smack kids with rulers today...heck do Nuns even teach in Catholic schools anymore? Gotta be hard to recruit now days. If they can accept the likes of the Kennedy's and Pelosi's...if ex-communication is deemed not PC...well, a bit of rot is going to creep in now, isn't it? This is what can and will happen when principles are allowed to soften...
It is sad and frustrating...
Boy, is that said an awful lot today or what?!
::facepalm::
