Title: Google Censorship

This just gets me to thinking...just like the world of forums, social media and posting commentaries and comments on blogs and articles...I bet most of the complaints and censorship are targeting those individuals and groups right of center...

And the progressives in all areas - politics, press, entertainment et all...all are to blame for fosting this attitude...

American's are a opinionated and boistrous bunch from the beginning...telling us to not speak our minds is akin to asking us not to breath...it just isn't natural, yet the Leftists always crush liberties of their enemies, regardless of the costs that will consume all.

Google censors, then I just try Bing or Yahoo.  Eventually I find what I'm looking for, usually something along the lines of rare and out of print.

I have been using

https://duckduckgo.com

more recently.    They claim they don't track you either.   We will see how long the government allows that........

Google used to have a motto,  "don't be evil".   Wished they still believed that.   Of course what is evil for a mostly left wing company is very different from what most people think of as evil.

Though I do understand they want to be worldwide,  but that means that they have to be in nations like China,  where free speech doesn't exist,  or the EU or the US where government types would like to end free speech or censor it.   So it doesn't leave much of the world to operate in.

It doesn't help google is inconsistent with fighting regulation and championing free speech.   So they shoot themselves in their own foot with their upcoming ban on gun ads.
