Joan Rivers passed away at 81.

Agreed. Some people just saw her as a female Don Rickles (as if there is something wrong with that), but like Rodney Dangerfield she poked as much if not more fun at herself.
Some of her best of the top of my head:
Michael Jackson, that was all my fault, I told him to date 28 year olds, who knew he would find 20 of them.
Liz Taylor, she is the only person I know who will stand in front of a microwave and say "hurry up"!
On her looks and having kids - Lets face it, I'm no beauty, if my husband didn't toss and turn in his sleep we would never have had kids.
On plastic surgery, I've had so much plastic surgery, when I die, they'll donate my body to Tupperware.

She could make fun of anything, some of it groan inducing. But she never backed down and that is always worthy of respect, no matter who's ox is getting gored.

They probably had her killed.. calling Obama a Fag and Michelle a tranny got her on the CIA hit list. Well, lets just see what was really in the drug they gave her for the "simple procedure" she was in for.
