It really is pathetic. If I was a Frenchman, I would be extremely pissed off that the American government would assume that such a gesture would be accepted by me as authentic.

We have become a festering and oozing pus pocket on the world stage.
I hate these people and what they have done to this country.

And remember these were the same people who were so mortified by the uncouth cowboy from Texas. They promised us they would repair our image on the world stage, because they're sophisticated and worldly, you know, smart diplomacy and all that horsesh*t.
The most recent is a meeting between The One and David Cameron, where The One loudly smacks his chewing gum during the meeting. I seem to recall some controversy about Bush and chewing gum, and the media were aghast. Perhaps I am mistaken about that, but I do know the praetorian media have little to say about Obama's classless affronts to other world leaders.

I'd like to say there will never be worse...but...given E-GOP suicidal tendencies and the DemonRat party getting more extreme by the day...
