OK, it's a Minnesota thing, but 100 is a good run, especially considering the guy never retired.

That column was published the day he died, so he literally worked until he keeled over.
Like him or not, he was a legend in Minnesota sports.

Well, you titled this properly...anybody who has read/heard/seen Sid will get it...
And yeah he slipped a lot the past decade or so and needed assistance with getting around and doing something...
He grew up through the golden ages of sports and literally his buzzline while appearing self-serving and arrogant...was none the less fairly accurate...stretched at times sure...but he had contacts...he was GM of Lakers before the ran off to LA...
He was informative, infuriating and yet entertaining and seeing him and guys like Patrick Reusse go at it was entertaining.
Anybody hitting the century mark is exceeding a good run.
R.I.P. Sid

I was thinking that's how bleeping old he is. He was a primary mover and shaker getting the Lakers to town. And that's not because he was living in LA at the time.
