RIP, Jackie - thanks for the laughs.

Someone once asked Jackie why is it that they have Bibles in every motel room?
He replied: "Why should a man want to read the Bible when he's with a woman alone in a motel room? Why would he be interested?

Whatever he's praying for, he's already got!"

Yeah, lot's of neat bit roles and cameos over the years...master of the rapid fire jabs...and yes, darn good run.

I realized he's been a part of my life from the beginning.  He was the voice of the aardvark on Pink Panther(?), wasn't he?

Not sure, I remember him from Mel Brooks - History of the World Part I (Spanish Inquisition in the dungeon) and he was in a slew of comedy shows and talk shows 1960's thru 2000's.
