The past few weeks have seen a lot of deep quakes hammering Kermadec trench, then a 6.7 hits off Panama, 6.7 hits offshore of Manilla, 8.2 hits Alaska off Perryville, 6.2 hits northern Peru, 7.1 hits southern Philippines, South Sandwich Islands see a 7.5, 8.1 & 6.3 terminate there, then another 6.9 hits off Perryville and a 7.2 hits Haiti.

Tsunami was mild, fortunate for them...not so fortunate a devastated basket case nation not recovered from past disasters have more misery thrown at them...

Meanwhile, earthquake ping pong continues...modestly deep 6.9 off Vanuatu continues the 6+ trend...and lots of 5-'s rattling termination points like S.Sandwich Is. and mid-range deep hits in Kermadec region...planet is still ringing like a bell...
