It seems the US pressured the Paki govt to shun Russia and they stayed neutral so there was an attempt at regime change. It failed at first now succeeded and the Paki PM is out and there is an election scheduled. Apparently the ex PM has a huge following and there was a recent pro ex PM and anti US demonstration. US fingerprints may be all over the vote of no confidence.
