Seems a logical fit for the Libertarian ranks...his remarks recently and in the past seem to indicate an uncomfortableness with the hard left's rabidity on pronouns, taxes, falling birth rates, regulatory schizophrenia, basic tenants of faith re: scamdemic, etc...but he is also of the climate cult so...nothing perfect but perhaps a work in progress...got out of CA for business climate reasons...perhaps more time in TX will cause more migrations of thought into action?

I watched the whole interview via Roku. He was not as big a member of the climate cult as I had feared. He said in the long term we will run out of fossil fuels so might as well get ahead of the curve and develop electrical. He said he was not an alarmist but was a little nervous about the unknowns of increasing carbon dioxide forever.
He said his taxes were so simple he do do them.
Then there was the Joe Rogan interview where he smoked a blunt on TV.
I likely posted this before but.... Sandy Munro is an old phart auto industry veteran who tears down and analyses new cars including Teslas. He said he sat in on a Tesla design review where Musk asked hard questions. Sandy said he never ever saw a CEO at a design review. Musk came up with a solution and an employee told him why it would not work. Sandy was shocked by that degree of comfort and the fact that the guy still had a job. Not possible at Ford or GM.
