Gosh dang it… I’m getting to be that age my parents used to tell me about - when entertainers I enjoyed as a youth begin dying at a more rapid rate. Many steamy nights as a teenager with “Paradise By The Dashboard Lights” as the soundtrack, that’s all I’ll say.

Stephen Fry recalled performing a sketch with him on the UK sketch comedy show Saturday Live in the 1980s. “I hope paradise is as you remember it from the dashboard light, Meat Loaf,” he tweeted. Of their appearance together, he wrote: “He had the quality of being simultaneously frightening and cuddly, which is rare and rather wonderful.”
He was a character. And PBTDL was huge back in the late 70's and into the 80's...anybody of that generation who didn't know it, well...would be a good test for a Soviet sleeper agent or a fricken alien scout!
::hysterical::
The old baseball play-by-play seamed into it still makes me chuckle...
