This all sounds great...but it really isn't changing recent practice much, just throwing on a lot of nice new terms.
I am not against tech per se, but everything has it's strengths and weaknesses. For instance, will sh*t work, like primary warship functions...if all the fancy networked/sat-linked bells and whistles go kaput if an electromagnetic attack occurs? Is it a yes, a no, a maybe or a don't know? The first is great, the second isn't and the third and fourth are unacceptable!
In the Indo-Pacific and confronting the Chi-Com's in particular is going to require a lot more than tech wizardry...it requires some old school brawlin' brawn and determination and maneuverability and cunning. It requires more numbers of all classes of warships armed to the teeth and able to deliver blows in a grid-up or grid-down environment, and the captains and crews able to pull it off. Can we operate without GPS? Can we have LORAN as a backup? And it needs a big increase in logistical support ships and some lower-cost effective fighter/bomber options. For the latter I wish they could adapt the F-15EX Eagle II's for carrier duty because that platform and it's agility and climb rate is top notch.
Anyway, don't have much confidence in the DEI bunch to get much right...

I do not know much or pay attention to military tech stuff. I hear that seamanshiip is poor Ships run into each other. That oiler just ran aground. I think carriers are careful not to get too close to hostile shores. The Houthis are forcing much of the world's shipping around the cape. I recall around half the F-35s are not operational.
Why doesn't the US have hypersonic missiles? We spend enough money.

REMFs have their preferred toys, that often coincide with defense contractor lobbyists greasing palms in Congress & promises of plush positions in said companies for the REMFs when they end their military careers....
