These leaders are often thinking about their next jobs at NGOs provided they do pro western stuff. A previous Georgian PM or president had his army trained by US marines then they attacked South Ossetia.. It did not end well and the people kicked him out of office so he works for a US NGO in DC.
Some of the Baltic chicks now work for EU or NGOs as I recall. They do what is best for their careers not their countries.
Current Georgian president Salome Zourabichvili is calling for the protests. She was born in Paris and maybe worked there as a diplomat. She was educated at Georgetown and Columbia. Reminds of when the Romans would kidnap sons of the foreign elite and raise them as Romans.
I just bought a used cell phone from a Georgian at the U of MN St Paul ag campus. He said older people were taught Georgian and Russian. After USSR it was Georgian and English. I have watched a few video blogs from Georgia.

I recall there are financial requirements to join EU such as financial responsibility.
The Duran guys joke about the current low requirements to join EU. They say if a country joins the Eurozone then it is very hard to leave the EU. I understand none of this.

The neoclowns are up to their usual shenanigans in another country that borders on Russia, led by a French diplomat who somehow managed to get elected President and, like Zelensky in Ukraine, is now refusing to step down when her term comes to an end.
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili will not step down from her position despite the end of her mandate in December, she said in a video address on Saturday, explaining that she does not recognize the legitimacy of the newly-formed parliament and intends to stay in office until new elections.
“I remain your President! There is no legitimate parliament that will elect a new president,” she said in a video published on her Facebook page. “My mandate continues until there is a legitimately elected parliament that will legitimately elect a President who will replace me!”
Under the 2017 Georgian Constitution, the head of state is elected by an electoral college consisting of 300 members. Half of them are MPs, and another half are representatives of various Georgian regions. The next presidential vote is scheduled for December 14. Whoever wins is reportedly expected to be inaugurated before the end of the year.

The French-born Zourabichvili – a career diplomat for Paris who acquired Georgian citizenship in her 50s – condemned the October election as a “Russian-style” operation, claiming that Georgian Dream is steering the nation towards Moscow and away from that of the EU. I imagine there are good things and bad things about joining EU.

Patrick goes to Georgia and interviews some people. Kinda lame video. So far their English is very poor. So far the crowd seems very young. one guy says most are teenagers like him. Another says teens and people in their 20s.
Asked if the elections were fair the answer is confusing. No because older people voted because they were afraid of war. (Maybe Georgia becoming next Ukraine? )
The teen was asked why he was there and it was because Europe is good. He wants to be in Europe. Russia is killers.

I have literally been inside US NED-funded offices in Bangkok Thailand when I wrote anonymously and no one knew who I really was.
Their offices were full of materials for protests, including banners and items passed out to protesters.
I sat in on conference calls where white guys instructed Asian proxies on how to deceive the public and build momentum behind their foreign-sponsored campaigns.
The US threatens nations with immediate consequences if they cut off NED funding, but not doing so guarantees inevitable destruction.
The longer cutting out NED interference is put off, the more difficult it will be when it becomes obvious it can no longer be tolerated.
Ask Bangladesh or Ukraine.
