Transnistria is in trouble because Ukraine cut off gas recently. Of the 1500 so called Russian peace keepers only 100 are Russian citizens the rest are locals. I have seen video blogs on both Transnistria and Moldova. looked kept up OK but not Moldova.
As of January 2024, Transnistria's population was approximately 465,800.
The region's demographic composition includes ethnic Russians, Moldovans, and Ukrainians, with Russians constituting approximately 29.1% of the population.

Transnistria & Abkhazia are BOTH in crisis!
I understand that Abkhazia people are not Russians and do not like Russia but they do not like anyone. Russia does not like sh*storms on its borders.

It was part of the Ukrainian SSR under the Soviet occupation...same sins as any Soviet puppet state.
And same BS as Ukraine...neither East or West will allow any of them to be truly independent...they have to be a vassal of one or the other...
