DOGE has yet to weigh in on procurement, that'll be fun I'm sure...but there is also other necessary changes to flush bloated REMF ranks, stale thinking, poor planning and sub-par training. SecDef Hegseth is starting off well with eliminating all of the idiotic DEI crap that is a total distraction from the mission of our military...which is to wage war against our enemies as directed by the CiC with the support of Congress where necessary in the defense of the American people.
We are too top heavy with Admirals and Generals, that needs to be addressed right away. We need a total overhaul in training personnel, there is some really stale programs and more useless rot to root out we don't need to waste time on. I heard Buppert say we need to get back to better leadership development, Amen to that, get back to basics and update with some John Boyd and Donald Vandergriff. Also need a total strategic thinking re-tooling to pair up to an improved, focused and auditable procurement process and system.
There is a vast chasm to bridge and no time to waste!
